Elemental to debate social media buy-in at Cross Media
We’re heading down to Cross Media 2012 for an intensive traditional and digital print publishing conference for next couple of days at the Business Design Centre, London. It certainly looks like a great few days of goodness including content, mobile, publishing, social media and more.
Not only are we heading down to check out the exhibition, panel sessions and presentations, we (well me, Tim Gibbon) will be contributing on a panel entitled “Taking social media beyond the marketing department: How to embed social media across an organisation," on Tuesday, 04 September 2012 in the Digital & Direct Marketing Theatre 2 from 14:45 to 15:45.
Joining me from similar and related industries are:
Chair / Moderator:
- Jonathan Brayshaw, Director at Original Agency (social at LinkedIn and Twitter)
- James Carson, Digital Strategist at Bauer Media (social at LinkedIn and Twitter)
- and me Tim Gibbon, Director at Elemental (in case you’re wondering, I’m social from http://bit.ly/tim-gibbon-profile)
It’s free to register and if you’re quick you’ll snap up a lot of free sessions that are available too. To stay tuned to everything Cross Media 2012 you can download the Cross Media app (for iPhone and Android).
You can also read a few pre Cross Media SMP profiled interviews at our site the Social Media Portal (SMP), a media partner of the conference.
We also have a few friends (Neil, Joanne and Ané-Mari) at Cross Media this year, and we naturally recommend that you check them out.

Press releases aren’t quite dead yet, so if they still hold any place in your heart, you can read our Cross Media 2012 press release in the Elemental media centre.
