Creating quite the media storm certainly helped The X Factor’s social profiles, with the programmes YouTube channel seeing an extra one million upload views and a 350 increase in subscribers this week compared to Week 5. The interesting figures for The X Factor come when you look at its Facebook engagement and Twitter followers.

With even more twists and turns with series 8 of The X Factor that made Twitter weep, the social buzz has never been so entertaining.

The X Factor week 4 saw the Halloween the theme for the 10 hopeful contestants left in the competition. It certainly was an apt theme in that it turned out to be a living nightmare for the programme maker, judges and of course for one contestant in particular.

Book review: Enchantment by Guy Kawasaki; how I became enchanted

Having moved a few months back, I didn’t grasp the opportunity to read the review copy of Guy Kawasaki’s Enchantment, until recently (it was hidden away accidently whilst packing). It goes without saying that it’s an interesting read from the former Apple employee (on two separate occasions) and well-known figure that has experienced creating and managing successful businesses.
