Facebook overhauls News Feed ahead of f8 conference

Since Google+ launched in July, Facebook has seemingly been rolling out regular changes to its functionality and terms of use in an effort to stop the ‘death of Facebook’ chants. This most recent change, the third in 10 days, hasn’t been as well received as Facebook may have hoped – but they have historically struggled to win users over with any new change.

UK government rethinks position on social media

Yesterday, the UK government has backed down on its position regarding social media and networks in times of civil unrest. In a meeting organised by the UK government, ministers, police, social network Facebook, telecoms provider Research in Motion ([RIM] the makers of Blackberry), and microblogging service Twitter resulted in unclear direction from the Home Office.

Is love for Facebook waning?
