How much does social network Facebook annoy users with frequent changes? Facebook is no stranger to change, which under different circumstances is never a bad thing. The social network often makes updates to its privacy policy, management of it and functionality (including it design), often under pressure resulting in changes that users reject.

A fiery week in the social network world

They say that when it rains, it pours. It certainly was that kind of week within the social network world and the battle for user love. Hearing users described as products by Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg at its f8 conference was a first, even if it was developers conference. However, Facebook wasn’t the only social network with significant announcements.

Big changes coming to Facebook: Timeline and verbs

Big announcement called Timeline for Facebook. Zuckerberg described it as “All of your stories, all of your apps, a new way to express who you are.” It will also integrate with mobile, to create a more seamless user experience from mobile to web. Facebook has also announced the addition of verbs so you will be able to ‘read a book’ or ‘watch a movie.’

Is love for Facebook waning?

Is Facebook now deemed to be too big? As a society we tend to get behind someone when they're on their way up. We want them to succeed, we love an underdog don’t we? But... just don’t get too big. We don’t really like that. There’s been three significant developments that suggest Facebook is losing favour, and not just with those of us who are immersed in digital.
