The Social Media Strategies Summit London to arrive in the capital
With so many dedicated social media events, or conferences that have a fair dose of the marketing channel running through them, it can safely say that we’re on the verge of social media overkill. The intensity in learning and implementing social media into businesses becomes increasingly important for agencies and brands. So, which ones to choose? Well, organisers GSMI is bringing its conference entitled ‘The Social Media Strategies Summit London’ to the UK’s capital with global programme next month, so possibly one of the last of kind this year.
Touching down from 25-27 October 2011, we’re stoked to be heading down the great venue at the Hilton London, Tower Bridge, London to check out the event first hand. The event strikes a good balance of speakers from associations (Mobile Marketing Association), agencies, brands (including Dell, InterContinental Hotels Group, JamieOliver.com, Samsung, salesforce.com) and technology providers (including AOL, Facebook, Last.fm, Ning, Twitter, YouTube).
With a combination of conference and workshops, attendees can hope to learn the latest in digital and social media marketing from an array of practitioners from various industries covering subject matter essential for SMEs, medium and global organisations. The three-day conference allows plenty of time for valuable networking between sessions, bringing an international feel with guest speakers that can impart global experience to a UK audience from entrepreneurs to very senior professionals.
We’ll report back what we find, so stayed tuned across our social channels.
