The X Factor: Social media and the live shows infographic – Week 3
Just before the fourth live show, taking a look at how the social media stats measure up for last week’s live show, can we use that to predict who will be in the bottom two?
As I said in my blog post over at The Wall, if a contestant isn’t connecting with viewers enough to have them head to their social media profiles, then it’s not a stretch to think that they aren’t inspiring them enough to pick up the phone and vote – which costs money.
The numbers below represent the number of fans that each contestants Facebook and Twitter fans grew by during Saturday’s performance show.
WEEK 3
- Sophie Habbis - 6,160
- Janet Devlin - 5,501
- Johnny Robinson - 5,150
- Marcus Collins - 4,203
- Frankie Cocozza - 3,175
- Misha B - 3,070
- Craig Colton - 2,418
- The Risk - 2,341
- Rhythmix - 1,602
- Sami Brookes - 1578
- Kitty Brucknell – 1479
WEEK 2
- Janet Devlin - 10,378
- Frankie Cocozza - 5,719
- Sophie Habbis - 5,587
- The Risk - 5,036
- Marcus Collins - 4,840
- Sami Brookes - 4,686
- Misha B - 4,569
- Johnny Robinson - 3,469
- Craig Colton - 2,568
- Rhythmix - 2,392
- Nu Vibe - 1,927
- Kitty Brucknell - 1,391
WEEK 1
- Frankie Cocozza – 9,057
- Janet Devlin – 6,008
- Marcus Collins – 4,106
- The Risk - 3,656
- Craig Colton – 3,580
- Misha Bryan - 3,211
- Sophie Habbis – 3,138
- James Michael – 2,687
- 2 Shoes – 2,553
- Amelia Lily – 2,440
- Rhythmix - 2,292
- Nu Vibe – 2,238
- Jonjo Kerr – 1,943
- Samantha Brooks - 951
- Kitty Brucknell - 812
- Johnny Robinson - 780
With the exception of Week 2 when Sami was in the top half of the pack, the other weeks have seen Sami, Kitty and Rhythmix in the bottom half. For Kitty and Rhythmix they were in the bottom three in Week 2 and Week 3, and perhaps unsurprisingly Kitty (given the public have yet to warm to her) has been bottom two for all three weeks.
Given that, my prediction for the bottom two this week will be Kitty and Rhythmix.
