About The Bahamas Tourist Board
The Bahamas Tourist Board promotes its 700 islands in the Caribbean to UK travellers. The Bahamas is made up of more than 1500 square miles of clear tropical sea, 5300 square miles of land and has a population of 300,000.
There are 16 main islands and the country has the third longest barrier reef in the world. The Bahamas appeals to a wide range of travellers, particular those looking for a private island or those interested in diving, beaches, golf and fishing. The islands are particularly attractive for weddings and romantic getaways.
What we did for The Bahamas Tourist Board
Re-invigorated an already-live campaign to promote the boards 14 Islands Film Challenge ahead of the campaigns finale, the black-tie Awards Ceremony. Through experiential marketing and social media activity, encouraged new and existing people to the site and the social assets to sign up to the 14IFC challenge and participate in the competition.
We undertook off and online PR, social media and search engine optimisation (SEO) to raise awareness, generate buzz, increase visibility of the campaign and the Bahamas as a travel destination.
