ad:tech London: Increasing footfall to the digital marketing event

Media relations and PR and launching new brands iMedia Connection and the Digital Marketing Manifesto

Brief

Elemental managed comms, media relations and PR for ad:tech and its stakeholders (e.g. exhibitions, guest speakers and sponsors). We delivered approach and marketing strategy for the organiser dmg events pre, during and post event to build awareness in line with activity the publisher undertook. Our activity also included the release of UK versions of ad:tech Digital Marketing Manifesto and iMedia Connection UK.

Approach

Used comms and PR to raise the awareness of the ad:tech event driving subscriptions, including the relationships with journalist, media partners and stakeholders.  Created media relations guidelines for stakeholders to boost event visibility and supported ad:tech’s direct and digital marketing activity.

Impact

Successfully raised visibility of ad:tech pre, during and post event assisting the publisher creating greater footfall and attendees than it experienced to date. Provided measurable journalist and media attendance beyond partners ad:tech arranged.  Ensured post event reviews on topical subject matter allowed the event organiser to demonstrate its richness, positioning ad:tech London as a UK leading marketing event with coverage building kudos of the event that it used for its future comms.
