econsultancy: Online PR for the digital marketing community

Using public relations to build visibility and subscribers for the digital marketing and ecommerce community

Brief

To raise the visibility of econsutlancy spokesperson Ashley Friedlein and the digital marketing and ecommerce community through off and online PR.  The objective was to grow the number of subscribers in order to build conversations around the different subject matters the site addressed.

Approach

We built a strong rapport with advertising, business, marketing and internet media including what are considered the industry renowned magazines.  Communicating the most relevant news by monitoring trends that had an impact upon brands and agencies we were able to resonate with.

Impact

We secured coverage across titles including brandrepublic, Click Z, Internet Works, New Media Age (NMA), Press Gazette, PR Week, Netimperative and Revolution.  Securing columnist opportunities in internet magazines allowed us to build awareness of the brand, its spokesperson and enabled econsultancy to share research on a monthly basis - supporting its kudos.
