InfoSpace: Brand development & product launches

How we boosted the profile of publicly listed search company InfoSpace; launching mobile, search and video services

Brief

InfoSpace tasked us to improve brand awareness through the UK and Europe, leading with the appointment of senior level management. In addition to this we managed the launch of new metasearch engine properties WebFetch and WebFetchPro. We also raised the profile of mobile and video products that brought many firsts within the industry in a competitive search engine marketplace.

Approach

We managed media relations, PR and social search for InfoSpace and its products and services.  This was supported by on-going communications working with senior management providing consultancy on the marketing direction of the brand. We drafted and communicated press releases sharing launches of new services including WebFetch; with media relations supported by case study and writing thought leadership and feature articles for media.

Impact

We achieved over 50 placements across advertising, broadsheet, business, digital, marketing and trade publications.  Media placements included .net, mad.co.uk, Marketing Week, Media Week, New Media Age (NMA), Revolution, The Guardian and more. We secured placements for guest speaking at ad:tech, Search Engine Strategies (SES) and TMF&A for senior management.
