blinkx to power video search for WebFetchPro and other InfoSpace Europe metasearch brands

InfoSpace uses blinkx’s technology to offer users the most comprehensive video search results on the Web


15 November, 2006, London, UK ---- InfoSpace Europe (http://www.infospacesearch.co.uk), a Web search products and services company, today announced a partnership with blinkx (http://www.blinkx.com), the smartest and largest video search engine on the web, to enhance video search capabilities on InfoSpace Europe's family of metasearch brands.

InfoSpace Europe metasearch combines relevancy weightings of multiple search engines to return the best results the Web has to offer, providing users with a more powerful and comprehensive way to search. By partnering with blinkx, InfoSpace Europe will offer its users the same breadth and relevancy of video search results, as it does of text-based search results. blinkx video content is now available on InfoSpace Europe's WebFetchPro site (http://www.webfetchpro.co.uk) and will be added to InfoSpace Europe's other branded search sites including Webfetch (http://www.webfetch.com), Dogpile (http://www.dogpile.co.uk) and WebCrawler (http://www.webcrawler.de) later in the year.

Under the terms of the agreement, InfoSpace Europe will pay blinkx for the video feed results based on volume of searches.
