e-consultancy Appoints Greenlight to Spearhead Search Engine Marketing to Seed its Content, Information and Data into Search Engines


Following a three-way pitch, e-consultancy http://www.e-consultancy.com has cemented a year long relationship with Greenlight http://www.greenlight.co.uk to provide a range of search engine marketing services.

Despite over 25,000 pages of UK e-business information and advice, e-consultancy’s search engine visibility has been disappointing to date, according to CEO Ashley Friedlein. With e-consultancy’s imminent introduction of a paid subscription service, the volume of content will swell to over 100,000 pages. Greenlight’s remit is to drive targeted traffic to e-consultancy.com to help grow the paid subscriber base. Greenlight will provide a range of SEM services including an improved linking strategy, search engine optimisation and submission, pay per click and trusted feed.

Ashley Friedlein, CEO at e-consultancy, comments, “As the e-consultancy site is entirely dynamic and driven by a content management system, we’ve had problems in getting the search engines to index our content. We’ve chosen Greenlight in part because of their proven track record, good clients and range of services, but also because we believe they have the skills to finally open up the enormous business value of e-business knowledge within our database by drawing in users via search engines and external links.”
