WebtraffIQ Logo Europe appoints WebtraffIQ Europe appoints WebtraffIQ to manage and analyse traffic from three million registered users across its European websites

30 January 2003, London, UK ---- Europe, the leading online destination for digital music in Europe, has appointed WebtraffIQ to manage its web analytics across all of its European websites.

Over three million registered users go to the sites to share music provided by 200,000 acts, split into 355 genres, and enjoy news update emails, chart information and competitions from big name brands. The 12-month contract will see WebtraffIQ monitor, track and analyse the consumer and business data, enabling Europe and its business partners to provide a more focused service.

After working for two months with, the UK version of the website, WebtraffIQ was commissioned to rollout the web analytic solution into Europe’s other sites: France, Germany, Italy, Spain and The Netherlands.

Anthony Broadhurst, European Marketing Manager, at Europe, explains, “We needed a pan European solution for website reporting and marketing tracking, WebtraffIQ offered the most comprehensive and easy to use package. The sheer size of our registered user database and catalogue of 1.3 million tracks means we are always looking for ways of building up site user analysis for our marketing and business partners.”

Broadhurst adds, “In addition to this, using WebtraffIQ’s ‘Cluster Reporting’ feature we can also measure and compare the performance of all the six European websites against each other, profiling them, to easily determine which are the most successful online. This has obvious benefits, especially when managing EU and international websites and determining which marketing, public relations and sales initiatives are effective.”

The WebtraffIQ web analytic solution allows Europe to manage its web analysis more effectively, and reduces the time and costs in generating reports of visitor traffic and interaction, eliminating the need for costly and inaccurate log file analysis. The analysis of the European websites is crucial to their overall communication with media professionals - not only to ascertain how they interact and navigate the website, but also reports where traffic to the website originates.
