Web design and development agency on- IDLE to launch Elemental PR’s rebrand – Elemental Communications


UK-based Elemental PR is to rebrand as Elemental Communications http://www.elementalcomms.co.uk launching a new website. The new site, corporate ID and logo created by design and development agency on-IDLE http://www.on-idle.com is set to go live in late October.

Tim Gibbon, director at Elemental Communications explains, “Although off and online public relations are just one element of what we do, the consultancy was not being positioned as well as we would have liked within B2B media. Our feedback and comments were often overlooked relating to subject matters that we do possess a great deal of experience and knowledge with.

In addition to this, there are a range of services that we have been delivering for a number of years, which don’t fall under traditional PR. The new brand and site will enable us to position and focus Elemental Communications better within the industries that we serve, and new sectors we wish to move into.”

The rebrand, including corporate ID and website delivered by designers for sites such as the forthcoming redeveloped The Variety Club, The City Swiss Club, The New West End Company and The London College of Communication. The website and Intranet has undergone user-centred design (UCD) (accessibility and usability) testing by West Midland-based specialists User-Lab http://www.user-lab.com, and will continue to do so after the first phase of the launch is completed.

Rachel Hawkes, account director at Elemental Communications comments, “What we were asking on-IDLE to do was extremely challenging, because there are not many agencies or consultancies that address the digital arena in the way we do. Evolving mediums are often misunderstood, so we required a website to address what is needed in order to deliver true integrated communications, public relations and consultancy, and we have achieved this. With a relatively new website there will be more enhancements to come as the platform and channels of communications continue to change.”

WebtraffIQ http://www.webtraffiq.com, the web analytics agency will be used to monitor and measure Elemental Communications website and Intranet with User-Lab, to report the impact of the website launch off and online.

“The new website has enables us to inject recent developments into the expandable nature of the site, which we would have not been able to do if the site was released even six-months ago. on-IDLE have exceeded our expectations and presented us with a website that truly adheres to our brand development and forms the basis for us to start communicating the great work that Elemental Communications and its clients deliver,” concludes Gibbon.
