Universal Playback Appoint New Media Maze for Five Figure Online Marketing Account

The Interactive Marketing Consultancy New Media Maze Has Been Retained by Universal Playback as its Online Agency Throughout 2002

New Media Maze the Interactive Marketing Consultancy has won the pitch for Universal Playback, and have been appointed as Universal Playback’s retained online consultants for 2002.

Universal Playback is a UK division of Universal Pictures, specialising in the release of cult and retro TV classics on both Video and DVD, which include titles such as The A-Team from the 1980s, through to Xena Warrior Princess which is popular from the 1990s.

New Media Maze pitched against three other agencies, which were marketing and PR, new media and a creative agency to win the five-figure account. They have been retained through all of 2002 for on-going consulting where they will be advising Universal Playback on how to integrate and use the Internet to increase their online sales, enhance greater brand awareness and increase data within the Universal Playback database.

New Media Maze will be working towards the brand as a whole, therefore, all of the titles that fall within the Universal Playback realm. It is expected that there will be monthly promotions that stretch across different genres and decades appealing to new and existing audiences and die-hard fans. Promotions will address a variety of mediums to communicate messages that integrating offline PR and marketing, to ensure solid and comprehensive campaigns.
