Weight Watchers Online marketing director James Hilton to leave for global marketing agency Inside
17 July 2006, London, UK ---- Global mobile marketing agency Inside (http://www.insidemob.com) welcomes James Hilton who steps down as marketing director at Weight Watchers Online.
Hilton joins Dusan Hamlin, ex-Carat International media communications director as joint managing director for the mobile agency which launched officially in June 2006.
Hilton joined Weight Watchers in 2003 when the UK site was in its infancy and was not profitable as an international identity, but held much promise. Since joining, he expanded the business with the creation and implementation of numerous initiatives including a highly profitable online marketing schedule working with partners such as MSN and Yahoo! Hilton led the introduction of online sales and partnership opportunities for brands wanting to gain exposure on Weightwatchers.co.uk.
Whilst at Weight Watchers, he managed the smooth adoption, integration and management of media including affiliates, search marketing, CRM and host of other marketing initiatives with an online spend of over £1 million per annum.
Hilton, who will begin his role at Inside on 01 August 2006 explains, “Inside is an opportunity for brands to work with a mobile agency that has early yet proven success in developing market leading mobile strategies from beginning to end. Our objective is to develop exciting platforms and media campaigns that connect with our clients target audiences in a more personal and enterprising way than has ever been possible before.”
Hilton was also Marketing Director for MGM Mirage Online and on the launch team for Workthing.com the recruitment initiative from the Guardian Media Group.
