Siim Vips
CEO
Siim Vips is the founder and chief executive officer of software company Modera. Headquartered in Estonia where it originated, Vips has seen the privately-held company grow to over 50 employees with operations in over 20 countries in little over six-years.
Vips graduated from university with a bachelor degree researching Virtual Logistics and the advantage of integrating new and old economies.
Prior to starting Modera, Vips worked for Abe International Limited, where he was responsible for automated order processing via the internet in 1996. This is where he realised his passion and was a main reason for establishing Modera in 2000.
He is fluent in four languages, speaking English, Finnish, Russian and his native tongue Estonian. Vips also serves on the supervisory board for the Abc Group Limited, a position he has held since February 2002.
