Tim Gibbon
Marketing Communications Director


Tim Gibbon was appointed as Marketing Communications Director at WebtraffIQ in September 2005. Tim manages the off and online public relations, direct and digital marketing for the web analytics agency headquartered in the UK. This also includes the media relationships between WebtraffIQ and its clients and connecting them to business and consumer media.

With experience consulting and implementing media such as paid search marketing, search engine opimtisation (SEO), SEO PR, email and viral marketing, Tim's consultancy skills are called upon to advise the range of clients that WebtraffIQ represents regarding business, e-business and digital marketing and PR.

His knowledge and experience with the aforementioned is drawn upon to design and develop emerging web analytics marketing technology at WebtraffIQ and next generation measurement products and services.

Tim is Founder and Director of Elemental Communications. Tim founded Elemental PR in April 2001, rebranding the successful public relations consultancy as Elemental Communications in November 2005. Kevin Hutchinson
Chief Technical Officer (CTO)


Graduating from the University of Leeds in 1993 with a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science, Kevin Hutchinson was employed by Stratus S2 in London to develop financial exchange software. Kevin’s role was to design and develop highly reliable and distributed software for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).


Kevin was employed by HSBC Stockbroking (formerly James Capel) during 1995. As part of a dedicated team of computer programmers, he designed and developed client (trading counterparty) information management software, and a “red top” financial information distribution system.

Kevin became a freelance computer programmer in 1996 and joined Credit Suisse First Boston to administer and enhance their money market trading systems. Later he joined Rolfe & Nolan (the system supplier) having gained valuable market experience. Here he worked on a user-editable Graphical User Interface (GUI) framework.

With extensive trading systems experience and GUI development expertise, Kevin took a front office position at UBS in 1998 as part of their tactical programming team. He developed various price and rate distribution systems using intranet technologies and working closely with money market traders.

In 2000, Kevin took his extensive real-time information systems experience to Tiscali UK, where he conducted a complete web portal audit and developed web and email analysis software. This software was evaluated by Tiscali International (based in Italy) and later adopted as standard Tiscali web analysis software in all 15 regional companies.

The Tiscali Web Analytics software developed by Kevin became the basis of WebtraffIQTM web site monitoring and analysis. Kevin has been developing and growing the WebtraffIQTM offering since the company began in 2002.

Marcos Richardson
European Director

Graduating from the University of East Anglia with a Business Studies Major in 1997, Marcos Richardson was employed by Hacketts Internet Marketing as the Business Development Manager. Marcos’ role was to produce high-level analysis and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports from web server logs for key business executives and specific business interest areas.


Marcos was employed by an Internet Marketing and tracking company during 2001. He injected his experience with a number of small, medium and large organisations, providing online strategy and implementation to acquire, retain and convert Web site visitors in order to fulfil business objectives. During his time another Web analytics vendor and digtial agency , Marcos worked with organisations such as Nokia, KLM, Penguin, CMP/EDTN, VNU, Cheshire Building Society and Virgin Radio.

Marcos joined Clickstream Technologies plc in 2001 as the Business Development Manager, securing sales for Colt Telecommunications and the Guardian Group.

His experience at other Web analytics and a digital agency saw him successfully implement a partnership framework, services definitions and development, a customer feedback system, pricing and positioning strategy and a sales management process at both companies.

Marcos has a wide knowledge of digital marketing and tracking technologies opt-in email management, search marketing, log-file analysis and browser based tracking, and was an Internet analyst before co-founding WebtraffIQTM Ltd with Kevin Hutchinson in 2001.
