Neil Garner
Managing Director

Neil Garner is the Founder and Managing Director of Glue4 Technologies Limited.  Prior to starting Glue4 he was Director of Software Services at Consult Hyperion, the e-Transactions consultancy.  Previous to Consult Hyperion, Neil worked as an IT consultant specialising in mobile communication and geographic information systems (GIS).  He has a MEng and DPhil in Electronics, both from York University.  Neil is also a Charted Engineer.

At Consult Hyperion, he started a successful software group which created software for prototype or production systems, specialising in Smartcards, consumer technology, cryptography and multi-channel devices.  Client projects included Sky's skycard (the credit card for TV), MasterCard's PayPass, Teletext's SMS service and many projects relating to Chip&PIN.

At Glue4 Neil spends his time working on technology innovation strategy and business development, and advising clients on product and service technology strategy driven by his own personal views on usability and real consumer needs.

Throughout his career, Neil has helped many well-known brands such as BSkyB, MasterCard, Vodafone, Visa and Teletext to conceptualise, architect and implement innovative consumer transaction services using emerging technologies.  This work has included consulting on market and technology strategy, investigating new technologies, developing bespoke software and systems integration.

Neil excels in all aspects of progressing new ideas from concept to commercial pilot.
